Do your solar and battery package prices include installation?
Yes. Our advertised package prices are installed starting prices and include the listed equipment, applicable rebates and standard installation. Battery-only package pricing is based on connection to a suitable existing solar system and includes backup for up to two selected circuits, subject to system compatibility and site conditions.
Final pricing may vary depending on switchboard condition, required electrical upgrades, site access and installation complexity. We will confirm the final price after assessing your property and system requirements.
Which battery size is right for my home?
The right battery size depends on your electricity usage, solar generation, evening energy consumption, backup requirements and future energy needs.
NTN Energy can review your usage and existing solar system to recommend a battery size that suits your home rather than simply installing the largest battery available.
Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?
Yes. In many cases, a battery can be added to an existing solar system. Compatibility will depend on your current solar inverter, system configuration, switchboard and the battery you choose.
NTN Energy can assess your existing system and recommend a suitable battery solution.
Do I need a single-phase or three-phase battery system?
It depends on your property’s electrical supply, existing solar system, energy usage and backup requirements. Homes with three-phase power do not always require the same battery configuration.

Can these systems provide backup power during a blackout?
Yes, selected packages can provide backup power during a grid outage when correctly configured. Our advertised packages include backup for up to two selected circuits, subject to system compatibility and site conditions.
Backup requirements vary between homes, so we will discuss which essential circuits you would like to keep powered before installation.
What solar and battery rebates are available in NSW?
Eligible NSW households and businesses may be able to access government incentives that reduce the upfront cost of installing an approved solar battery. The Australian Government’s Cheaper Home Batteries Program currently provides an upfront discount for eligible battery systems, and NSW customers may also be eligible for incentives associated with connecting a compatible battery to a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
Eligibility and incentive amounts can change. NTN Energy can explain the incentives applicable to your system when preparing your quotation.
